SEEN & AmRRON Net Schedule
SEEN operates a Wednesday night voice net every week on the 444.700 repeater in Shelby County Alabama. With excellent coverage in four counties, it is one of the premiere nets in the area. You can also check in using Echolink by connecting to WA4CYA-R. The node # 217599. The net starts at 8:00 pm CT.
Our HF digital net starts at 7:00 pm CT. We operate digitally on 3.585 USB using Contestia 4/250. Tune to 900 on the waterfall.
The UHF voice net is usually topic-driven and not a simple roll call. Everything from antennas to prepping for a grid-down scenario is discussed. We have a comment and question time where operators ask questions or comment on the topic of the net.
As an AmRRON affiliate SEEN operators join in on numerous nets running nightly across the United States at different times. Check the AmRRON site for specific times and frequencies.
Finally, AmRRON puts out the AmRRON Intelligence Brief (AIB) every Monday at 2000 UTC on 14.110 USB. Contestia 4/250 is used to start the net and then switches to MFSK32 to send the actual bulletin in both FLMSG and FLAMP. Turn your RX ID on in the program and your system will switch automatically.
